Louis Joilet Mall

Joilet Illinois

Louis Joliet Mall, or rather Westfield Louis Joliet Mall may be found in Joliet, Illinois, on Route 30; but a few miles southeast of Interstate 55. Access is relatively easy regardless of the direction you come, for it is freeway all the way. If coming from the North or South it is best to take Interstate 55 to the Route 30 exit; and if you are west or east of the mall you will be able to take Interstate 80 to I-55 and then the Route 30 exit. The normal shopping hours of Louis Joliet Mall are 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 7pm on Sunday. Their extended holiday hours vary depending on the proximity to Christmas.

Louis Joliet Mall is a one-level shopping center which houses upwards from 120 specialty retailers including four anchor stores, Sears, JCPenney, Marshall Field’s, and Carson Pirie Scott. An addition to a fair selection of stores selling apparel and accessories (although not as expansive \ as  Hawthorn Center in Vernon Hills),  Louis Joliet mall is home to a dozen stores offering beauty services and supplies, 11 jewelers, and a smattering of electronics, entertainment, and various other specialty stores. Furthermore, in 1999 Westfield Louis Joliet Mall added a movie theater to its growing list of attractions. It was also at this time that the mall remodeled its food court.

Panera Bread is a popular new addition to  Louis Joliet Mall. TGI Friday’s and a restaurant style Sbarro’s are the other two table service options. As for the rest, Chinese, Arby’s, burgers, pizza, tacos, and deli style subs are the fare. Like the number and variety of stores, the food court at  Louis Joliet Mall offers shoppers not as many choices as some other malls in the region, but it certainly offers enough.
